My mission is to help pre-med and medical students achieve their goals throughout medical education while supporting their mental and spiritual health. I host a pre-med and medical student podcast and offer the medical student CV masterclass.
About
First Line is a podcast hosted by Dr. Aubrey Ann Jackson, a psychiatry resident and professional pre-med and med student mentor passionate about medical education and mental health. She used to struggle to balance the demands of schoolwork, exams from the MCAT to the USMLE and COMLEX, while also trying to get research experience and taking advantage of leadership opportunities. She is now dedicated to using her experience and what she learned to empower students on their medical education journey.
First Line is a podcast dedicated to serving the next generation of physicians. Dr. Jackson draws on her own experiences in addition to what she has learned as a professional pre-med and medical student mentor to help support students. In addition to over 200 free to listen episodes, First Line offers subscribers exclusive pre-med content to help prepare students for taking the MCAT. Additionally, the Medical Student CV Masterclass is offered as a self-paced online course to walk students through how to craft a competitive CV. Join Dr. Jackson as she covers a variety of topics important to medical students and pre-med students.
Hi, my name is Aubrey Ann Jackson!
I want to help future doctors achieve their goals while maintaining healthy lifestyles and feeling fulfillment in the journey.
I love to serve the world by speaking on important topics in whole person mental health and supporting the next generation of doctors.
When I'm not working as a psychiatry resident physician or recording new episodes of First Line, I'm spending time with my husband, daughter, and our three cats.
